Prices are great selection is massive. Almost overwhelming. Each department has a bin with discounted items. I.E. Ground sirloin is going over date in the meat department tomorrow it's frozen and put in a discount bin and sold at a deep discount. Large produce section, liquor store, pizza sold ready to eat on site. Sushi made on site. No credit cards. Debit and cash. Between this place and aldi you can find everything you need and save a fortune.
Usually love this store, selection & prices are great, the cashiers are friendly, but my last visit the Customer Service was awful. Asked a cashier to call for Customer Assistance in frozen food, which she did, & I clearly heard over the PA. Waited in frozen, then finally walked over to the Customer Service desk, where two employees were chatting with each other. When I asked for help, instead of someone coming with me to frozen, I was told they hadn't made any announcement. (my impression was that they didn't want to be bothered) I explained that a cashier had, and that I had heard it over the PA. At this point, the male CS employee reluctantly came with me to the frozen dept. The employees behind the Customer Service desk need training in this area.
I'm visiting from Cali, and my first time at Woodman's I thought I had died and gone to heaven. The beer selection is impressive, especially when you consider that it's refrigerated. Out here in the SF Bay Area, people think we have the best of everything. Not so...
Always a huge selection of any item I'm looking for. Fast checkers and they always have a bagger which is great! The employees are really nice. I've done online grocery shopping and it too was amazing. They picked out the best fruits and vegetables and meats. My orders were always correct and they do an excellent job of packing them in my car.
Massive selections on everything. Pricing is great we save money here vs other local grocery stores. Friendly staff, huge liquor department with very good beer choices. I wish the produce was better. Often it is hard to find average fruits and vegetables that are not bruised or beat up.
