Something had gone wrong with our movie but they were willing into give us replacement tickets. The management staff did everything they could to accommodate those that were in the meeting movie theater. I wouldn't say to your foreign film there again but if you're going for normal time it would be fun.
Also the Dream Lounge chairs are amazing!
Overall I have been quite pleased with this movie theater. It is just what I would expect, but there are two complaints that I have. The assigned seating can be an issue when people take your seats and you confront them and they just say "well, people took our assigned seats". Thus setting up a domino effect in the theater that can leave you in seats you were not hoping to have. For example, for a premiere I specifically purchased advanced tickets two weeks in advance to get "middle middle" seats in the theater, only to get there and have them taken with no recourse on the part of the staff to rectify it. My second issue is one evening I purchased tickets with their app for a showing and when I got there their doors were locked. I had to wait at the front doors until I saw someone inside and was able to get their attention by knocking on the glass. I was informed that "they had a power outage and closed for the evening". It was a perfectly clear and wonderful evening and I suspect that was their excuse for closing early instead of running the rest of the night at a negative profit. They did however give me two passes for use at another time, but it was still a little inconvenient especially when I really wanted to see a movie.
Bought tickets months in advance for Star Wars, they bumped our seats day of the showing--to the very front, very left of the first row in the ultra screen (which is 6 stories high). Why do those seats even exist? The employee we spoke to told us verbatim, "You have two options: sit in the seats printed on the ticket or leave." Um, no. We were visiting family, this was supposed to be a fun activity and instead of apologizing and trying to remedy the situation, we got lip. A manager came over finally and gave us some passes to Marcus Theaters, but we don't live near one, so that didn't really help. The seat map by the theater said there were still seats available elsewhere, but the manager said his computer showed it was a sold out showing. We went in and looked at the seats and there's no way you'd see anything worthwhile in a 3D showing in those seats. We walked back to the front desk, but they were busy selling tickets, so we went to the kiosk to see if there was another showing with seats left. Nothing during our stay, so we went and stood in line at the front desk and got the same lady who told us take it or leave it basically and I asked for a refund. She gave it to us and we left without being able to see the movie with family and with no remorse from staff. Horrible experience. I'm sure it was a glitch of some sort, but they made zero attempt to correct it and zero apology for the error, yes, we got passes to a place we can't go, but only got a refund when we argued for it, for a mistake that was not ours and ruined time with family. I'll think twice before ever going here or another Marcus Theater again.
Everything was filthy. Is this place only cleaned after hours. Soda and food everywhere. No toilet paper in the bathrooms. I haven’t been to a theater in years. I didn’t expect this. My family will be watching movies from home from now on .
Can’t beat the $5 Tuesdays and $5 Thursdays for students. Highly recommend getting the tub of popcorn. $25 first time with one free refill, then after that just $4 refill for a whole year. Def worth if you enjoy popcorn or have kids.
